Foundational Yoga

Foundational Yoga is an “All Levels” class introducing fundamentals and foundational yoga poses that will enable each student to create and apply building blocks toward their individual practice as they dive deeper into the yoga experience. This class will emphasize safety, stability and ease, and will help the student understand alignment, breath and gain awareness within each pose. The focus will help students better connect to themselves and to their daily surroundings. After practice it is our hope that each student leaves class with a deeper sense of gratitude, free of judgement and can encompass a life full of joy.

Vinyasa Flow Class

VINYASA  FLOW YOGA

Sunday,  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

A flow class with focus on the present moment and moving with your breath mindfully.  Vinyasa synchronizes the movements of the breath with a dynamic sequence of connected yoga postures, which are joined together.  The breath is an important component of these classes, and the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This class will incorporate sun salutations, and fundamental yoga postures into vinyasa flow, moving at a steady pace to build heat.   With a rhythmic and energetic approach to Yoga, this class emphasizes on creating dynamic sequences of postures and linking these “flows” with the breath; integrates self-awareness, alignment and creates a unique balance of strength and flexibility. Enjoying the diversity of movement, with a fun mix of hip openers, back bends and inversions. All levels are welcome, although a flow background is helpful, we recommend that you are comfortable with Sun Salutations prior to taking this class. Beginning students should attend the Friday Fundamental class for an  introduction to Sun Salutations and proper alignment of postures.

Flow & Yin Yoga

Friday

Flow & Yin is a sweet blend of vinyasa flow and yin. About half of class uses a breath-based vinyasa flow to build strength and flexibility, challenging your balance and concentration, and harnessing that energy to promote inner stillness and peace. The other half of class finds you down on the mat holding yin poses for longer periods of time, targeting the connective tissues of the body to help release deeply stored tension. The two styles together are amazingly transformative.
